- IT Support Engineer @ Pinkerton AcademyDerry, NH - On siteSummary:
- Located in Southern New Hampshire, Pinkerton Academy is one of the largest semi-private high schools in the Northeast. Behind the scenes, there is a tiny IT team. With a not-so-tiny budget, they are responsible for expanding, configuring, and maintaining the entire information system infrastructure. My aptitude for telecommunications and full-stack development alike proved useful in this environment, reflecting in my work. The team survived the loss of a network administrator while also upgrading systems and deploying new devices.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer solutions to changing demands

- Design and deploy TCP/IP and other telecommunications equipment

- I was lucky to have the ability to learn as much as I did while working for the academy. Losing the network administrator was a devastating blow for the team, and I was able to fill that role on a temporary basis. I learned how to apply my learned skills to real-world scenarios, and it was the true start of my professional IT journey.
